Maps

In determining a potential route for the proposed Palomar pipeline, many factors were considered, including public safety, environmental sensitivities, land-use compatibility, economics, vegetation, agriculture, drainage, archaeological and cultural resources, and public input.

From the links below, you can download a complete set of maps detailing the route proposed in Palomar’s certificate application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or a single map showing the overall pipeline proposal. After clicking on a map, it will open in a new window in a condensed size. You can enlarge the maps by using the toolbar near the top of the page. Optimum viewing is at 100 percent, but you can specify other percentages.

Since submitting its certificate application in December 2008, Palomar has been asked by the federal Bureau of Land Management and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs to reconsider an option known as the “Warm Springs Alternative” that was included in the December filing. The BLM also asked Palomar consider an alternatives crossing of the Deschutes River which we have named the “Maupin Bridge Alternative”. Maps of all these route alternatives can be accessed by clicking on “Alternatives” below. As with the other maps, the maps showing the alternatives will open in a new window.
